YOUR BOOK

    Did you know that God has a book, a special book about all you are to do and  all you are to become in Him? You are not a random being  amongst millions. You are a unique creation, created in God’s Own  image: to be His workmanship.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Eph. 2:10 NLT

 As a creative artist  crafts a beautiful vase or statue or a jeweler designs a  crown for a King or Queen, God meticulously designed you. Your creator is not a distant, scrutinizing taskmaster, but a concerned and loving father whose plan is to train and  groom you to royal and noble proportions.

        I myself can attest  that my Heavenly father has  consistently been an excellent provider and protector. I have  been faced with many perilous and frightening  circumstances that only a miraculous God could give.

        If you’re at a place  in your life that is painfully confusing, take the time to quiet yourself and soul search about your purpose and destiny. Father God desires to adopt you into His heavenly family through His beloved Son Jesus Christ through the new spiritual birth.

       God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.  Eph 1:5 NLT 

We were all born of and into sin and death and destined to suffer eternal tormenting hell, but precious Jesus redeemed us  by the shedding of His blood, by the sacrifice of His own life!

       Imagine being born poor,  miserable and cursed. Through Jesus, you are now a new creation and adopted to a royal and everlasting family.  

    If you wish to be God’s child and accept Jesus as your Lord & Savior, sincerely pray this prayer aloud:

        “Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my Victory, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord”.        Now that you are a new creation in Jesus Christ, find a full gospel church, be baptized in water and find a church family to mentor and grow you in  your wonderful new faith. God bless you! 

Time is short and the door to salvation will soon close. Yesterday, after prayer, the name of a former classmate came to my mind. I asked Holy Spirit, “What about Ellise? Why is her name coming up again?”

She is dying. So I searched for my yearbook and looked at Ellise’s picture. I needed to find her phone number and looked up her brother on Facebook. After not finding him, I searched the net for his address and found his obituary. Ellise’s brother Jonathan died in 2012 at 52. I was shocked and greatly saddened! The internet white book showed that Ellise still lived at 61 Beaumont Court. I knew that I had to send her a card as soon as possible and connect with her for prayer.

I feel strange. I barely knew Ellies in school and barely knew her brother, but I feel a great sadness. Only two months ago, I found out that a former bass player was in a coma after suffering a massive stroke. I had sent him a Cd and New Testament to let him know that I cared for him and to please read the New testament because Jesus was waiting for him. I was heart-broken that a month later, his lady friend reported on Facebook that his battle was over. HIs organs were to be donated.

That all being said, I urge you to spend quiet time praying, examining your life and making an effort to share Jesus with everyone you can. This is a serious Clarion call to all of God’s true people. Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all men,

Mat 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Joy in the journey.  I'd always hoped that the road would gently unwind before me as i struggled to ascend to higher heights, while being pushed backwards, by the  continual and daunting symptoms of my many ailments. Just last week, as I was uploading my original songs and past gigs, to this website, i remembered  the anguish and  exhaustion   of supporting myself by delivering telephone books during the  day and  most evenings, I would be performing at the Oakland House, a private  event or a local tavern. My love for composing on the guitar and collaborating on original music with  John DeGrazio and Kyle Hicks saved me from suicidal  thoughts. God always made a way for me to  get fund to produce and record my songs in the studio.  I'll never forget  crying out  to God as I pushed a hand truck loaded with heavy telephone books, wondering why I wasn't touring with my band and respected.   The staggering fatigue from the  Lyme symptoms and  my carbon monoxide poisoning episode made me feel inferior and cursed,  The constant eking out a living wore down my spirits often and i wondered what my destiny was. 

      Angst, disappointment and regret, weighed me down often during my long Dystonia battle. but as I've finally come of age this late in my life, I acquiesce to the reality of Christ being my solid foundation. God's precepts have sheltered me from the sting of hatred, unforgiveness and retaliation. I know that His peace tempers me to have a grateful heart and make the most of every opportunity, however small.  I cherish, Moses' Psalm 90:12.

       Teach us to number our days that we may know wisdom.   

      No need to keep asking  Father God..."why"

       In the past, I often felt ,my creative and musical endeavors were not allowed to bear  the fruit they deserved for whatever reason. i wanted to be successful fashion designer, best selling author, renowned poet or well-loved music icon. too often, my creations had to be postponed indefinitely because of   constant interruptions of lie-threatening illnesses.. Worse yet, fewer and fewer invitations came as people became aware that the TMJ Dystonia symptoms  were diminishing my . I noticed with great anxiety, that my vocal prowess and guitar skill was also strained.  I'd expected  that I'd  get better with age, not worse.

       And so,, I determined in my heart, I would push forward no matter how much it hurt. I could not quit because of what Christ did for me. He destined me to be a conqueror and i was to  be a role model for precious  girls and women whose lives were shattered by trauma. As I scan  the horizon of my future, I'm assured that  He will bring beauty out of the ashes.  Behold, He arose  and redeemed me!
